An electric hoist is a compact integrated lifting device that uses an electric motor to drive a gear transmission system, rotating a wire rope drum to wind or unwind the wire rope, thereby raising and lowering loads. 1. Define the load

Determine the maximum weight to be lifted (SWL) and add a safety margin for slings, grabs, and dynamic loads.

Which hoist is right for an explosion-proof area?

For zones with combustible gas or explosive dust, choose the HB type explosion-proof electric hoist. It is available with explosion-proof grades Ex d IIB T4 and Ex d IIC T4, with flame-proof motors and explosion-proof electrical components. It can run on I-beam tracks or be fixed-mounted.

What is the difference between a standard and a low headroom hoist?

A low headroom hoist positions the drum, pulley block, and lifting point directly adjacent to the travel track, minimizing the occupied space and maximizing the effective lifting height in the same building height. Choose it for low-rise factories, underground plants, and renovated buildings where headroom is strictly limited.
