Product Introduction
The free standing jib crane (pillar jib crane) belongs to BZ / BZD series slewing cranes. BZ model supports manual rotation; BZD model adopts electric motorized rotation for heavy frequent operation.
Compared with overhead bridge cranes, pillar jib crane requires smaller investment, simple foundation construction and easy maintenance. Many manufacturing workshops choose it for machine loading/unloading, mould exchange, assembly line and welding station lifting tasks.
We can customize effective outreach, lifting height, power voltage, painting and safety devices according to local workshop conditions. All cranes comply with ISO standards.

Product Feature And Application
Key Features of Freestanding Jib Crane
Freestanding Structure: No reliance on factory walls or steel structures, enabling flexible installation locations.
270° / 360° Slewing: Covers the entire circular working area for flexible load positioning.
Compact Structure: Small footprint, ideal for medium and small workshops and warehouses.
Low Operating Cost: Simple construction with few wearing parts and easy routine maintenance.
Two Slewing Modes: Manual or electric slewing optional to meet different operational requirements.
Complete Safety Protection Devices: Standard equipped with overload limiter, travel limit switches and slewing stopper.
Customizable Design: Jib length, lifting height, power supply and hoist type are all adjustable.
Wide Voltage Compatibility: Supports 220V~480V, 50/60Hz.
Application Scenarios of Freestanding Jib Crane
Freestanding jib cranes are preferred for sites featuring weak workshop walls, no suitable load-bearing walls, workstations in the middle of production lines, demand for wide 360° slewing coverage, and available ground space for independent concrete foundation pouring.

FAQ
Q: How to choose the right pillar jib crane for my workshop?
A: First, you need to know the maximum load you will be lifting (e.g., 1 ton, 2 tons). Then measure the required arm length (the distance from the column to the lifting point). You also need to decide whether you want manual or electric rotation. Our engineers will design a solution for you free of charge.
Q: What is the difference between a free-standing jib crane and a wall-mounted jib crane?
A: A free-standing pillar jib crane requires an independent concrete foundation and can be placed anywhere. A wall-mounted jib crane must be fixed to a solid factory wall and cannot rotate a full 360°.
Q: Can I install a pillar jib crane outdoors?
A: Yes. Please select the outdoor anti-corrosion paint and waterproof electrical components when ordering.
Q: Which rotation type should I choose, manual or electric?
A: Manual rotation is suitable for light loads with low-frequency operation. Electric rotation (BZD model) is recommended for continuous daily lifting of heavy tasks.
Q: Can you customize a special outreach and lifting height?
A: Yes. Our engineering team supports the production of non-standard dimensions according to your workshop layout drawings.
Q: What power supply voltage can you provide?
A: Standard 380V 50Hz; we can adjust to 220V, 415V, 440V, 480V, 50/60Hz according to different countries.
Q: How large a concrete foundation do I need?
A: After placing the order, we will send a professional foundation construction drawing to your construction team, including dimensions, reinforcement requirements, and load data.
